Thomas McGahan, CFA
Principal, Chief Investment Officer

As CIO, Tom leads the firm’s investment research efforts, portfolio construction/trading activities, and risk management functions, ensuring each client account is aligned with the investment principles of Eamon Capital Management.

Prior to founding Eamon Capital Management, Tom spent over 20 years advising and managing the investments of large institutional capital pools for corporate retirement benefit plans, public pension plans, endowments, and foundations. His direct investment management experience includes MetLife’s $21 billion and BNY Mellon’s $11 billion retirement benefit plans where he was responsible for financial market and asset class research, asset allocation decisions, and investment selection.

Further, he has advised and indirectly managed the investment platform offerings for several well-known registered investment platforms such as R.W. Baird, SEI Investments, Affiliated Managers Group, and Principal Financial Group. Prior to this, he was a sell-side equity research analyst covering healthcare and business service stocks at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Tom holds an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He is also a CFA charterholder, a highly distinguished and globally recognized credential held by only 170,000 investment professionals worldwide. The right to use the CFA charter is earned through the completion of a rigorous study program testing fundamental investment tools, valuing of assets, portfolio management, and wealth management.


Amy Greene
Managing Partner

Amy works alongside Tom, managing day-to-day marketing and investor relations, ensuring each client has a rewarding and successful experience with Eamon Capital Management.

Prior to joining Eamon Capital Management, Amy spent 10+ years as a sell-side analyst before transitioning into the field of global investor relations and communications.

Building on her long-standing relationships with institutional investors and analysts in the consumer space, she went to Herbalife where she built out an award winning global investor relations program. During her tenure, the company experienced significant multiple expansions and battled activist shareholder campaigns. Amy went on to become SVP, Investor, Government & Community Relations and then SVP of Global Engagement where she developed and guided the crisis, strategic planning and communications to drive brand equity.

Amy joined Avon Worldwide, where she was responsible for the global communications team, investor relations and chaired the Avon Foundation for Women prior to the company being acquired by Natura & Co.

After leaving Natura & Co, Amy partnered with Tom to help build Eamon Capital. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing tennis and attending church at Northway - Sewickley. Amy holds an undergraduate degree in politics from Randolph Macon Woman’s College. She is a proud mother and wife who enjoys playing tennis when the Pittsburgh weather cooperates.

Francis Matthew Manella, CFP®, CKA, CSRIC, AEP
Head of Financial Planning

Matt has over 20 years of experience focusing on creating and delivering financial planning collaboratively with advisors affiliated with various firms encompassing the Financial Services industry. In his career as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) he has delivered hundreds of detailed financial plans, each tailored to achieve a client’s goals efficiently and prudently.

Matt is FINRA Series 7, 66, 9 and 10 securities licensed, and life, health, and variable insurance licensed. He holds to the Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA) designation for faith-based planning, the Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC) designation for values-based investment planning, the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation for working collaboratively within the advisor community (advisors, attorneys, and accountants), and served as the president of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey.

Matt is a Gordon College graduate with a degree in Theology and minor in Biology with international studies taking him abroad to Southeast Asia, China, the Middle East, and the Caribbean aboard a 134-foor brigantine schooner. He and his wife are proud parents of their adventurous and trailblazing son and his triplet siblings. When not financial planning, you will find Matt at a youth soccer sideline, at the Jersey shore, and generally enjoying the outdoors.
